If given the chance to have your children attend a top rated school that then feeds into top ranked Middle & HS, then Heritage in my opinion, does not get any better. We made the decision to move back next summer because quite frankly, we love and miss the school and the incredible community. My girls have started at their new school here in SA, and have made friends, but ask EVERYDAY "Mommy, when are we going back to Heritage". The kids think he is "so cool" and they love his leadership. The Principle, Toby Maxim is a super approachable guy. The safety of the students is bar none & they are quite serious about it.
The school is beautiful and there is a true sense of "family" on the campus. The teachers, faculty are incredibly professional. Our daughter had an incredible experience in Kinder & 1st Grade and our little one was excited to start Kinder there before we moved. We Recently moved from Highland Village to the San Antonio area and we struggled to find an elementary school that met the same standards as Heritage. Thanks mom for making me "give it a chance." Posted by a student on I look back on the three years I've spent here, and can honestly say iSchool High not only prepared me for college, but for every aspect of my life. I have had the absolute best high school experience ever. I could probably go on for days, but I'll end with this. Student lead all the clubs and events, which makes it so much fun. One of my friends is even graduating with her associate's degree! At iSchool, our education is put first in everything we do, but we do have lots of fun while furthering our education. It is hard to explain the environment of iSchool High unless you attend! It's so different then what you might expect.
Let me tell you, within a week of attending this school not only did I fall in love with iSchool High but I met some of my best friends.
I can still remember not liking the idea of this school as an 8th grader, but my mom said, "Just give it a chance." The main reason I did not want to go here was because I wanted to play basketball. I hope that parents and students searching for more opportunities will discover Ischool High and accept the challenges and benefits of such an amazing program. He guided him through the college selection process, and gave him the confidence to reach for the stars. Bass played a pivotal role on the journey with benevolent counsel. He was groomed for leadership and group participation with various extracurricular activities such as National Honor Society, chess club, and the school newspaper.There are so many staff members and positive stories that come to mind. Throughout his high school career, my son had amazing teachers that would motivate him and allowed him to proceed at his own pace that enabled him to flourish academically. Each day started at the front desk with April's sweet smiling face and various staff members welcoming the students. I do not say this to brag I feel extremely blessed that he was allowed such an amazing opportunity, and I am compelled to share this gift with others. He graduated valedictorian within three years graduating with 30+ college credits through the classes he was able to attend at the LoneStar college on campus. This letter has been a long time in the making because of my desire to adequately put into words how wonderful the staff was and how well the curriculum design allowed my son to excel. My son graduated from Ischool High - University Park last May.
